ASX AeroNet Universal Traffic Management (UTM)

AeroNet is a universal traffic management (UTM) platform that connects and coordinates air and ground robots for safe, efficient and scalable operations.  Urban areas like Detroit need a UTM system to safely and effectively integrate crewed and uncrewed air and ground vehicles as they complete package deliveries.

"DSPL is redefining the role of smart parking facilities into multimodal transportation intersections by creating a living Petri dish for companies like ASX to develop the digital infrastructure needed to authenticate, sequence, separate and coordinate both crewed and uncrewed traffic in these environments. We look forward to working with the DSPL team, partners and its cohorts.

By providing scheduling, routing, deconfliction, collision avoidance and transaction capabilities like payments, AeroNet enables drones, robots and autonomous vehicles to operate seamlessly within society, supporting the future of connected mobility platforms across logistics, transportation and smart city ecosystems.

What they're doing at the lab

At the Detroit Smart Parking Lab, AeroNet UTM is using its connected system to manage drones, Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing aircraft (eVTOLs) and ground robots in Detroit’s Transportation Innovation Zone.
