The Snowbotix Multi-Utility Robot (SMUR) is an all-electric, autonomous platform designed to electrify and automate heavy-duty, year-round commercial property maintenance like snow plowing, sweeping, and mowing. It is currently deployed at the Detroit Smart Parking Lab (DSPL), where it autonomously manages zero-tolerance rooftop snow and ice in a live urban environment. This deployment validates the robot’s ability to safely navigate an active, live and complex parking structures, reducing operational costs and carbon emissions while removing human workers from hazardous winter conditions.
